KPV is a tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) derived from the C-terminus of α-MSH. It is studied for its potent anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties1. Mechanism of Action
Inhibits NF-κB nuclear translocation, reduces pro-inflammatory cytokine production (IL-1β, TNF-α), and modulates innate immune responses at the cellular level.
